Wasted Youth is a satirical card game for 2–6 players built around the collections we devoted ourselves to when we were young — comic books, action figures, board games, and many more.

The 72-card deck splits into two types: Collectables and Action cards. Collectables are gathered into sets using hand management and matching mechanics familiar to fans of Rummy. Action cards are where the game opens up — players can steal from opponents, block them from scoring specific collectables, protect their own collection, or change the game with a well-timed wild. The goal is to complete your sets before anyone else, but the Action cards ensure no lead is ever safe.

The rules are easy to pick up, but a single well-played Action card in the final rounds can flip the table. Wasted Youth is a light game that plays intense.
